Arizona Career Pathways works closely with Valley Interfaith Project (VIP). Arizona Career Pathways was launched from the concerns of the VIP membership in 2010 to address economic issues and workforce development. VIP is a consortium of faith-based institutions and community organizations that assist with recruiting low income and underserved members of the community for Arizona Career Pathways. VIP leadership supports Arizona Career Pathways outreach and provides neighborhood outreach and
meeting places that help to strengthen Arizona Career Pathways’ message in the community. Member institutions then take an active interest in the progress of the program participants, encouraging and helping them to succeed in meeting their educational goals.
ARIZONA CAREER PATHWAYS
Arizona Career Pathways also partners with the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD), its main provider of training. MCCCD provides space for weekly mentoring and peer- support meetings, and Arizona Career Pathways offices are located on the campus of Gateway Community College. Arizona Career Pathways services are provided primarily at the 10 MCCCD community colleges.
Arizona Career Pathways defines the needs, identifies resources and brokers relationships that impact the education and training of a quality workforce, regional economic sustainability and business growth.

“I am a single mother. They helped me be able to finish my degree without fear of losing my home, or getting my electricity shut off. They do more than just provide financial recovery, they provide a chance, an opportunity that schools and the federal government doesn’t.”

“I think most importantly I love how they truly want us to succeed. You can feel the genuineness from all the staff.”
